Sky Boba was founded by Skylar in 2023 with one simple goal: to make it easier to enjoy boba without all the sugar and carbs traditionally found in the drink.
Skylar began working in the organic food industry as a brand ambassador at just 15 years old, giving her years of firsthand experience with food retail and better-for-you products. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University and beginning a lower-carb lifestyle, she quickly realized that one of her favorite treats, boba tea, was difficult to fit into the way she wanted to eat.
Instead of giving it up, she decided to create her own.
After more than a year of experimenting with ingredients, flavors, and recipes, Sky Boba was born: a line of convenient, lower-sugar boba products made for enjoying bubble tea at home.
What started as a personal search for a better boba has grown into Skylar’s passion project, and she’s excited to share it with boba lovers everywhere.
